We are located at Fair Play, El Darodo in the picturesque Sierra FootHills of California. This geographical appellation in the Golden State holds the natural landscape and the perfect weather for growing some of the most popular grapes varietals which make flavorful and unique wines.
Our Farming Philosophy
We give extraordinary care and human touch to our vines which allows them to grow healthy and produce fruits in the right quality and quantity. Our viticulture best practices along with the right environmental care helps the soil to grow healthy vines which in turn is reflected in the quality of the wine it produces. We provide individual attention to the vines throughout the year with the right irrigation, pest management and canopy management procedures . We strongly believe that sustainable and ethical farming methods is directly reflected in the quality of the grapes and the wine it produces.
We grow three different varieties that are uniquely adaptable to our region and climate.
Coming from Italy’s Piedmont region this grape makes bright and crisp full bodied wines. They are know for keeping the right level of acidity with low levels of tannis to stand its own and also blends perfectly to make luscious reds.
Cabernet Franc is a well established grape variety which is considered as an ancestor to Cabernet Sauvignon which adapts well with the Sierra foothills region. This region typically produces an opulent, fruit-forward variety that surfaces a bold taste and aroma when aged in French oak.
This region grows some of the best Zinfandal in the world and produces a medium bodied style wine with rich berry and cherry taste. The light sweetness in Zinfandal makes it a perfect drink for a beginner wine enthusiast.
